MONTES ALPHA SPECIAL CUVEE RED WINE 750ML

Description

This wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Valle Central of Chile, where the vines thrive on soils of granite and clay. The grapes are hand-harvested at peak ripeness and fermented in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. The wine undergoes aging for 16 months in American barrels. The wine pairs well with spaghetti with caper tomato sauce, spicy curry with lamb, or cod with cucumber mustard vegetables. Some users describe this wine as a deep ruby colored full body wine with notes of chocolate, oak, vanilla, black cherry, raisin and leather; some noting that it softens after being opened for 30 minutes.
